IBM Storage Digital Sales Manager

With ownership, accountability, and autonomy over the setting and delivery of your territory’s strategy, you will partner with other sales and technical leaders across IBM, and our selling partners’ eco-system to identify and qualify leads, land deals, and expand existing customer relationships.Your Role and Responsibilities
A natural at inspiring and motivating others, you will support your digital sales squad and wider sales /marketing network through the end-to-end sales process.
Fusing best-in-class traditional and contemporary digital selling techniques (website lead nurturing, social selling, inbound follow-up, outbound outreach etc.,) you will facilitate the successful landing of opportunities. From MQL identification to SQL qualification – through to pitch preparation and attendance; deal closure; product deployment, and user adoption growth.

  • Sales Strategy Understanding: Understanding IBM’s sales strategies and aiding teams in digital communication.
  • Purposeful Culture: Creating a results-focused culture, identifying best practices, and removing obstacles for Digital Sales.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensuring operational excellence through KPI management and process optimization.
  • Sales Metrics Focus: Conducting regular sales meetings and reviews, with a focus on core metrics and insights.
  • Inspirational Leadership: Being an inspirational leader to cultivate a culture of sales and social selling excellence for client and sponsor value.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Solid years’ experience as a seller (around 8 – 10 years)
  • Deep expertise in the sales process
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Demonstrated of IT Sales experience
  • Understanding of the IBM storage and security portfolios
