Role Overview:

Fortinet is looking for an IT Network Engineer to support Network operation in our Taipei office.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and administering 20+ remote sites IT infrastructure, Including OS upgrade, remote patches, hot fixes and security configurations change request etc.
• Maintaining and administering APAC VPN Hub across multiple regions in APAC.
• Configuring and installing various network devices and services if needed (e.g., Firewalls, switches, AP etc).
• Monitoring network performance, and able to troubleshot/fine tune network related issues.
• Handling daily system/networks related issue via IT ticket system.
• Secure IT infra and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Performing basic Linux server maintenance e.g. Patch/install apps.
• May required occasional onsite support in Taiwan.
• Other duties may be assigned if required.

Requirements:

• Minimal 5 years of experience in Enterprise Firewalls Administration/NOC operations.
• Strong network knowledge (LANs, NAT, VLAN, ARP, Radius, DNS, DHCP etc.).
• Experience with Network Monitoring System e.g. Panopta/Cacti/SIEM.
• Strong knowledge with routing protocols including OSPF, MPLS and BGP etc.
• Experience in managing MPLS, IPSec VPN, SSL VPN platforms and securing policies.
• Scripting Skill for network automation(Ansible/Python/Bash).
• Basic Knowledge for VMware VCenter infrastructure.
• Linux administration experience is a plus.
• Excellent English oral and written communications skills.
• Diploma/Bachelor in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.
• Fortinet Certificates or CCIE equivalent is a plus.
