Job Purpose
This role demands analytical abilities, proficiency with leading data analysis tools, and strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The Data Analyst will be tasked with Investments Funds and Warrants-Certificates reference data analysis, data management and standardization, sources research in order to set up wide financial reference datasets in proprietary systems.
Additionally, the candidate will be asked to establish and nurture relationships with Investments Funds and Warrant-Certificates issuers across Europe and, when required, in non-European regions. Among the duties there is the setup of issuing documents flows (KIDs, Factsheets, reporting and regulations Templates).
Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
- Perform data validation and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Utilize statistical methods to analyze financial data.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data-driven strategies and initiatives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and financial services.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or Statistic and Data Science and related field.
- Previous experience in data analysis, preferably in the financial sector would be an asset.
- Experience with data modeling, statistical analysis is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis software.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial industry is a plus
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R (preferably knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI).
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
