Job responsibilities
- Conceptualize the design, build and delivery of ‘next generation’ suite of data analytics solutions for WLS by understanding decision making processes/ workflows/ data needs of the functional heads and Centre for Enablement
- Articulate and prioritize data use cases that would enable the team to take data-driven decisions including leading big data related projects and operationalizing data governance framework to enhance data quality and consistency
- Manage the generation of high quality management reports to provide insights on deal volumes, KPIs, client satisfaction index and overall visibility of business performance for WLS
- Enhance operational efficiency through outsourcing, identifying resourcing demands, managing role based access and monitoring progress of strategic initiatives in WLS Book of Work
- Improve control environment through effective resiliency planning, facilitating regional audits and enabling periodic review of operating procedures for WLS
- Manage the execution of high priority leadership events such as executive visits, town halls and employee engagement through EAW events, Newsletters, etc.
- Drive talent recognition programs and promote employee readiness by increasing awareness about training resources for skills development
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, business management, controls, project management or strategy role in the financial services industry
- Proven business experience in developing data strategies and technical expertise to use Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Python to drive business results
- In-depth knowledge of data management platforms
- Strong verbal, written, presentation and communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across multiple teams to support the goals of the business
- Good organization skills, and ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines, including strong prioritization skills
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities, accept new assignments in rapidly changing environment
- Strong control mindset with high level of motivation to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of banking products and high-level transaction flow is an added advantage
