You’ll join our Enterprise Support Services (ESS) team, helping to supportthe important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a driven administrative professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability.


As an Executive Assistant Supervisor you are responsible for the leadership and execution of the daily administrative tasks and duties of the EA team, while also providing administrative support to a partner. You are a driven administrative professional who enjoys working in tandem with your colleagues while striving to understand and anticipate customer’s needs to exceed expectations. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Resource management:Overseeing a team of EAs, ensuring they’re meeting firm initiatives and goals, proactively responding to changing business needs, as well as assuring team members have the necessary tools and skills required.
  • Staff performance & development: Meet team members on regular basis to discuss feedback from various sources, making sure staff feel challenged but not overwhelmed, as well as discussing accomplishments, development opportunities and career ambitions.
  • Promote change management & process improvement: Supporting and coaching staff during times of change to maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance. Promoting operational excellence by challenging current practices, providing feedback on opportunities to improve within own area of responsibility and encouraging generation of innovative ideas and solutions that improve efficiencies.
  • Morale: Foster a positive work environment by being inclusive, communicating frequently, encouraging learning and growth, as well as recognizing & rewarding staff contributions.

  • Develop & maintain working relationships: As you build and maintain a network of relationships across EY to execute work effectively and efficiently, encourage staff to do the same.
  • Project/Committee Work: Participate on national committees and project teams.

Executive Assistant

  • Engagement support: In-depth knowledge to support the client engagement management process, including assistance with tracking and reporting time & expenses.
  • Calendar management: Independently manage partner’s calendar.
  • Travel arrangements: Booking travel and associated logistics.

  • Meeting & event coordination.

Overtime required as needed.

To qualify for the role,you must

  • Have post-secondary education and/or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with proven ability to learn customized software/tools.
  • Aptitude to differentiate when to act independently or team with others.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience as a team leader and/or supervisor.
  • General understanding of financial principles as they relate to the billing of chargeable time.
  • Professional services firm experience.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $68,000 to $102,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
