Job Title:Graduate Field Service Engineer
Residing in Southeast Finland (field-based role)
Role Type:Permanent, remote (full-time if graduated, or part-time to fit around your remaining studies)
Job Summary:
As a Graduate Field Service Engineer at Honeywell, in Southeast Finland, you will be responsible for you will be responsible for visiting our customers to support withDistributed Control Systems, (DCS), or Quality Control Systems, (QCS).
Our client base covers many exciting industries, meaning you will have exposure to Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Food & Beverage, Metals & Mining and Pharma.
Key responsibilities
Honeywell have had a presence in Finland for 75 years, we have strong future; would you like to be a part of it?You will gain a view of the full system, have a buddy assigned to you, and work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience to be trained to work fully independently within 2 years.
There are two exciting career paths within Field Service Engineering, working withDistributed Control Systems or Quality Control Systems.
In the begin, depending on your passion and skillset, you will with start with:
Either general Distributed Control System, (DCS) configuration & implementation
Or Quality Control Systems, (QCS), service/project activities.
Once you are established in this, you will focus on:
Either DCS system application design, testing and commissioning
Or QCS system configuration & implementation from server point of view and understanding the system tunings vrs. output of the process in sheet manufacturing industries (e.g. pulp/paper/battery lines)
Both areas also:
Work to strict alignment to Honeywell and client health and safety program requirements
Key skills and qualifications:
Studying towards or recently graduated, (2024/5) from a degree in in Information or Engineering Technology, Automation Engineering, or Computer Science
You can communicate technical issues in both Finnish and English with ease
Unless you have studies Automation Engineering, you will have some experience in DCS or QCS applications, (this can be from you studies, hobbies, or work experience)
You are able to accurately document designs and work performed - for instance, you have done this in some university/technical school projects
