As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions. In this role with our client, you willdevelop new features in the control path for data protection, debug and resolve issues in support of strengthening the current product. You will collaborate with various engineers and contribute to the further growth of features our client offers.
You will:

• Design and develop the discrete subsystems of the product
• Work with the team on sprint planning, estimates and backlog grooming.
• Provide code reviews to the other team members.
• Receive core reviews and feedback from other team members.
• Participate in the development process, including design, implementation, and testing.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, system test, and customer support.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering teams in USA, Sofia Bulgaria and China.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent disciplines. Master is preferred.
• 6+ years of hands-on development experience in distributed systems and networking.
• Strong Python, Java and C/C++ programming skills.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented design, STL and scripting language python, bash.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with TCP/IP protocol suites and other networking protocols.
• Experience in vSphere is preferred.
