As an Associate/Vice President banker within Equity Capital Markets team, you will advise clients on corporate strategy and structuring and executing of complex M&A transactions, help them raise capital, make markets in financial instruments and provide sophisticated risk management services. In this role, you will support an outstanding network of relationships with corporate and institutional clients that lie at the heart of our Investment Banking franchise.

Job responsibilities

• Act as an originator and marketer of ECM products / solutions to a variety of clients
• Possess ECM products knowledge with strong insights into the capital markets
• Demonstrate strong execution, communication and leadership capabilities in ECM transactions
• Build a strong client network with both the issuer and the investor clients
• Help lead a team of junior bankers

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Minimum 5 years prior working experience in an ECM role or relevant investment banking role
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics or above
• Understanding of ECM transactions cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented
• Impeccable communication details with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business
• Self-directed, highly motivated and driven, and able to work independently
• Fluency in Korea and English
