Your key responsibilities
- Deliver learning design and development projects (including large scale, highly complex projects) on time, to budget and quality standards
- Develop a detailed project plan for each project, based on a standard template, identifying deliverable due dates and review cycles
- Establish and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders including subject matter resources, other learning stakeholders, and third-party learning vendors
- Ensure adherence to operations and compliance processes including procurement, finance, and Risk Management
- Coordinate and monitor the work of vendor project managers, designers, and developers where applicable
- Identify and assess risks and consult with leadership or stakeholders on options in a timely manner
- Facilitate and lead regular project and team meetings
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Leverage and share best practices of project management with other team members
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers on the team
- Make recommendations to leadership regarding competing priorities and resource management issues
- Initiate and ensure the effective and timely publication of learning content by content administration
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in managing learning design and development projects, preferably at a global level and/or to a dispersed client base
- Demonstrable experience involving project management skills including management of vendors
- Demonstrable experience in concurrently managing multiple, large-scale, and highly complex learning and development projects involving all delivery channels/types
- Demonstrable experience using project management software, including Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrable experience of having built and maintained strong relationships with business customers/clients, including at the senior or c-suite level
- Demonstrable experience of thinking and acting strategically and commercially in pursuit of the wider EY business objectives
- Demonstratable experience of mentoring and providing guidance to junior team members
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Strong knowledge of - and commitment to optimize - learning end-to-end processes and standards
- Knowledge of learning science and evidence-based design standards and practices to ensure that EY’s learning content is of the highest quality and has the desired business impact
- A bachelor’s degree and ideally higher professional or master’s qualification in a related discipline
