Senior Specialist, Data Analysis MES

The Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Senior Specialist acts as a subject matter expert for PAS-X MES focusing on data analysis. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the MES data strategy is developed in line with the global data analytics team to get meaningful insights from the MES data to make key manufacturing decisions and actions. The MES data analyst will be responsible in building Proof of Concepts (PoCs) with PAS-X Data Access (PDA) or similar tools to develop value solutions for the Manufacturing sites. The Senior Specialist will also be supporting MES Labels & Reports customization and deciding long term strategy for building customized labels and reports for the global manufacturing sites using standardization. The Sr. Specialist is responsible for following standard processes and procedures outlined by MES Product team and global data analytics teams. These include cGMP regulations, SOPs and global business processes. The MES Sr. Specialist is responsible for activities that include the following:

• Creates Proof of Concepts using PAS-X Data Access or similar tools for building highly contextualize MES data pipelines for consumption by global data analytics teams.

• Identifies and implements continuous process improvement opportunities in MES data analysis.

• Build custom labels and reports with tools like Crystal Reports with deep understanding of PAS-X Oracle Database. Troubleshoots issues related to existing labels and reports.

• Work directly with Manufacturing sites point of contacts to understand the requirements related to labels and reports and implements them following the SOPs and Life cycle procedures using electronic validation softwares like eVal (Kneat Validation Software).

• Executes the appropriate change control and processes to assure the MES system is in a state of control and compliance.

• Executes MES Core testing activities related to various core MES function like Reports & Labels, general MES usage and process order execution.

Education Minimum Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of MES (PAS-X) experience or 12+ years of relevant MES experience

Required Experience and Skills:

• Direct experience with MES (PAS-X) with strong experience in custom reports and labels building.

• Proven track record of analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detail.

• Good knowledge about PAS-X Oracle Database structure. Hands on experience with Crystal Reports.

• PAS-X MES end to end implementation experience.

• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills Minimum five (5) years of experience in a production regulated industry.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles/processes (preferably Biologics) and ability to translate manufacturing requirements into Automation/Digital Solution

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Knowledge of SAP

• Knowledge of Jasper Reports
