Senior Specialist- Security & Regulatory Analysis

Nokia Product Security PMO and Regulatory is looking for an experienced security specialist to deal with the increasing level of regulatory requirements and standards for Product Security. The number of new regulations is expected to continuously increase in the future and Nokia needs to be able to deliver products that meet these requirements globally.

You will analyze these regulatory requirements and identify how they match to Nokia’s DFSEC (Design For SECurity) methodology or other Nokia CREATE disciplines and what are the possible new requirements or activities that Nokia needs to introduce to comply. You will work closely with the other experts in the Product Security organization and the Business Groups to also ensure any requirements that do not directly relate to products are handled appropriately.

You are experienced in Nokia’s product creation methodology or an expert in regulatory compliance. Previous knowledge in either of the areas is, obviously, a plus. You can interpret sometime fuzzy requirements and are able to formulate concrete requirements from those. You can analyze impact of new technologies, developments, and trends from the Regulatory and Cyber Security space to Nokia Product Security baseline and Nokia processes. You are an efficient communicator who can explain complex topics to varied audience and are able to work independently and strive for good results. You have experience in Program/Project management and able to work with large virtual teams.

Job Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Regulatory requirements analysis
  • Guide R&D teams in implementing regulatory compliance
  • Work with other experts in Product Security organization to ensure that the Design for Security methodologies are up to date.
  • Present security improvements and capabilities to internal audiences.
  • Create communication material of Nokia’s compliance / non-compliance towards regulations to internal and external audiences.
  • Participate to Industry Forums, e.g. Country Regulations and Standardization Forums (DoT/NCCS, GSMA/NESAG, EU CSA Enisa, CEN/CENELEC, etc..)

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, security engineering or equivalent with overall experience of 8-10 years.
  • Previous experience in R&D
  • Previous experience in Regulatory requirements
  • Familiar with security technology & architecture principles and Product Security processes, such as Nokia DFSEC.
  • Good understanding of software products and their security
  • Security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH) is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation skills, including the ability to condense and simplify complex technical topics.
