Director – Human Resources

Reporting Alignment: Sr. DIR Global HTS HR, HTS Europe VP (matrix)

This role will be based in either Brno, Czech Republic or Krakow, Poland.

You will be responsible for increasing the overall performance of the organization by creating strong interactive partnerships with client groups by:

  • · Building and growing HTS talent in Europe that creates a competitive advantage by recruiting, developing and retaining top talent
  • · Drive continuous improvement and HTS Transformation.
  • · Deploy talent strategy across HTS Europe in line with business strategic action plan. Strengthen organization structure.
  • · Manage stakeholders across countries and global SBGs
  • · Partner with senior business leaders to continually drive the effectiveness of the business through developing organization design and leadership changes as appropriate to ensure maximum business success
  • · Ensure an ongoing and proactive focus on driving change within the business, linking change management needs, communications, tools and processes with overall business cultural and change direction, in order that the business culture and mindset evolves as required to ensure success
  • · Work closely with Business & functional stakeholders to build HR strategy and own its deployment
  • · Heavily engaged in leading & enabling the team to be strong on operations (HR execution) as well as demonstrate high strategic intent through influence
  • · Partner with functional HR for Engineering in Europe to develop cross-business talent strategy
  • · Engage in M&A activity as required for the region, drive integration for Europe-based employees assigned to HTS
  • · Act as a coach and confidant

YOU MUST HAVE

  • · Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, or related discipline
  • · 10+ years' progressive professional HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • · 5+ years’ experience in HR leadership/management roles within a regional and matrix organization

WE VALUE

  • · Masters degree in business or human resources
  • · Extensive HR experience including strong HR functional expertise and track record of implementing large scale transformational projects
  • · Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders (managers and employees alike)
  • · Comfortable as a "hands-on" manager and willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • · Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgement
  • · Honesty, integrity, and trust building behaviors in all dealings is essential and required
  • · Ability to find the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization
  • · Ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  • · Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
  • · Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization/challenge status quo
  • · Previously demonstrated leadership skills
