The role:

You will have your own graphic design skills & expertise. Please note, if you do not have direct design experience, then this is not a role for you. We passionately believe excellence in this field comes from knowing both how to produce magnificent work (literally) in addition to commissioning great work.

You understand the importance of being creative but also getting stuff done. You know the difference a great ‘visual wrapper’ can make to a campaign and understand the importance of having a consistent visual identity. You will understand how modern design programs work and what is needed practically to create amazing work.

This role covers three principal areas:

  1. Brand development, evolution, and governance (across all channels)
  2. Key driver of creative messaging and related copy (your voice matters)
  3. Leading the creative and content services team (aka production & optimization)
  4. Guiding marquee events (how we manifest the brand at flagship events)

What you will do…

  • Optimize the day to day of how we create content (implement new workflows with the PMO) ensure all assets are coming out in the right format, on time and per budget (PMO will help here), meeting the standards you and the CMO expect
  • Motivate, manage, and nurture your team, so they are engaged, committed and passionate about their work. Ensuring you build team cohesion and can support elevated levels of output
  • Ensure messaging and standard guides are being adhered to and we are showing up in the manner and style you expect
  • Guide the Director of Creative Services on how to produce assets, the strategy that we are following and the core messaging and direction from the PMM team
  • Help our PMM team to flex and refine their messaging to be more palatable to internal and external consumers (where this makes sense)
  • Work with the CMO, VP, Demand Generation and Director of Creative Services to evolve and build out our brand guidelines, style guides, templates and to ensure we have consistency inside and outside our organization
  • Act as the ‘guardian’ of our brand, logo and how we show up physically, digitally, and virtually
  • Work with the digital and social teams to enhance, refine and evolve our channels and how we are seen by the external world across all our assets
  • Line-manage the marquee event team, ensuring that how we manifest at these flagship events, is best in class, in the manner we want to be seen as, so that we maximize how our brand and identity is seen alongside key messaging
  • Our ideal candidate is both a “doer” who likes to make things happen. They are very collaborative and affable and can develop clear plans and execute against them in a timely manner. They can see the ‘bigger picture’.

Who you will manage:

- Senior Director, Marquee events (manages a team of 2 + contractors)

- 1 x dedicated ad-copy writer (contractor), in addition to AI powered Jasper

- Dotted line to Senior Social, Media Manager (manages 1 report)

- Dotted line into two primary agencies supporting content/collateral creation and demand generation (you will need to ‘set brand and visual standards’ for them and ideate with them)

You are supported by a global Program Management Office (PMO) that schedules all major work and administration matters. They oversee all system and service optimization (contracting, invoices, pos, asana ticketing etc.). They will be your global partners.

What we expect…

  • 10+ years’ experience working in brand, visual identity, creative services / advertising
  • You have already worked with organizations in cyber security, B2B technology or SaaS.
  • You are an excellent communicator, you are clear, concise and affable.
  • Skilled at working with multiple internal and external parties.
  • You can easily maintain a work schedule, prioritize projects/asks, strategically manage your own budget.
  • Extremely comfortable in a fast-paced working environment where agility and pivoting are a part of the journey.
  • Self-driven, positive, and collaborative individual. You enjoy collaborating and going alone when needed.
