Essential Functions of the Job (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead the development and implementation of oncology healthcare professional educational programs and materials across multiple media / marketing channels to achieve business objectives and sales targets
- Develop and execute personnel / non-personnel promotional programs and tactics, manage through the MLR process and ensure alignment and integration across channels
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Sales Operations and other key functional areas including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Legal
- Coordination with Commercial Analysis and Market Insights to incorporate program learnings and customer insights into future initiatives
- Work closely with key oncology stakeholders including physicians, nurses, hospitals, office staff, and professional societies.
- Develop and maintain a high degree of therapeutic area knowledge
- Budget preparation and maintenance
- Perform all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies and procedures
- Manage agency partners through the development and implementation of promotional programs and materials
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency):
- 3-5 years’ work experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology product channel marketing
- Experience working with external brand agencies and vendors on a day-to-day basis and managing promotional budgets
- Ability to collaborate closely with agencies and other team members
- Specialty pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience preferred including experience in hematology, oncology, or inflammation
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication, presentation, analytic and strategic capabilities
Bachelor's degree required; MBA is preferred
