As the Associate Director Operations & Maintenance, you will not only be at the forefront of overseeing the day-to-day operations but also on a compelling career path within our organization. Your responsibilities include leading the Maintenance & Operations team, overseeing the IFM partner's activities, and driving continuous improvement in the maintenance program for critical assets. Additionally, you will be instrumental in managing the partnership with the IFM provider to ensure exceptional service delivery to our internal customers. The Operations & Maintenance team will take a leading role on behalf of the site in the transition from various computerized maintenance management system to a centralized asset management platform called Hexagon. This position reports directly to the Director of Facility Management and Engineering and serves as a key replacement during their absence.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the Maintenance & Operations team who are responsible for reliability management, maintenance engineering and Integrated Facilities Management.
Overseeing the activities of the IFM partner(80+ employees) ensuring a strong partnership and compliant and effective contract execution.
Developing and maintaining the departmental long-term maintenance plan in close collaboration with the IFM partner, the capital projects team and Asset Specialists.
Conducting risk assessments, periodic GMP equipment reviews, and asset condition assessments.
Ensuring seamless hand-over of assets from the project team to operations.
Managing the central MRO warehouse and related processes and procedures.
Leading the calibration program to ensure the reliability and accuracy of critical equipment.
Leading the site wide transition to the Hexagon CMMS.
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Extensive experience in operations and maintenance management within a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment
Proficiency in Dutch preferred, with strong English language skills.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on performance management, change management, and continuous improvement.
