IT Advisor, Technology Solutions Delivery, Finance Management – Financial Services Office (Manager)(Multiple Positions) (1488440), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, San Francisco, CA.

Assist clients with designing and implementing technology solutions to improve their finance organization's efficiency and effectiveness. Provide technology solutions to financial services industry clients, including enterprise data management; reference data management; ERP systems; Data Warehousing; and Reporting systems. Assist clients with IT solution implementations and roll outs. Work with a team of technology advisors on requirements definition, architecture design, conversion and testing. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in defining business and technical requirements. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field and 4 years of work experience in defining business and technical requirements.
Must have 3 years of experience in the financial services industry and/or providing financial advisory services.Must have 4 years of experience in financial system tools, technologies, and architectures, including at least one of the following: BASEL, Oracle Financials, Hyperion, PeopleSoft Financials, SAP, Cognos, SunGard, Clarity, Cartesis, Business Objects, Intellimatch, Smart Stream, SimCorp Dimension and/or OFSAA.Must have 4 years of experience in at least one of the following: designing business and technology architecture, system implementation, data mapping and conversion, proof of concept, quality assurance and testing, and/or business and IT process reengineering.Must have 3 years of experience in program/project management and implementation planning (PMO).Must have 3 years of experience in supervising a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life-cycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion and testing.Must have 4 years of project experience, in any 3 of the following:
- Finance transformation and accelerated close
- Sub-ledger/ledger redesign
- Management reporting enhancement
- Business intelligence/decision support
- Traded products/front/back office package implementation
- Data warehousing/enterprise data design and management
- Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Business/Merger integration
