As Head of Innovation, at EY Portugal, your will have the following responsibilities:
• Create and lead the innovation practice at EY Portugal;
• Define and implement the strategy, vision, and objectives of the innovation practice;
• Lead the innovation practice day-to-day activities, supervising and or participating in the creation of world-class experiences that inspire our clients for transformational agendas, and help them identify new business opportunities and overcome complex business challenges;
• Guide the co-creation of new solutions with clients & EYers applying innovation methodologies (e.g., design thinking);
• Develop an innovation hub to centralize, structure and create an innovation ecosystem at EY Portugal;
• Identify and develop relationships with potential partners for the innovation practice.
• 10+ years of experience working with innovation and 7+ years of experience in management positions;
• Proven track record on leading innovation initiatives in the past and has a deep understanding of innovation methodologies, such as design thinking, agile, and lean startup;
• Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to understand and navigate complex business challenges. The candidate should be able to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions to address them;
• Experience in collaborating and co-creating with clients, industry experts, academia, and other key players in the innovation ecosystem;
• Strong project management skills and a proven ability to successfully execute complex initiatives from conception to completion;
• Leadership and communication skills, being able to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams;
• Ability to navigate and facilitate discussions across multiple sectors & business practices;
• Full Portuguese and English proficiency;
• Able to work in Portugal and abroad.
