Job Description:
As a UX Designer II, you will contribute to the team that creates new and evolved experiences for how we meet these merchants’ needs. This is a unique opportunity to do a wide range of work: build first-party software solutions, evaluate opportunities to make Venmo a platform / marketplace on which third parties can build, establish innovative partnerships with leading merchants and/or merchant aggregators, and also touch the consumer side of the experience by creating new ways for consumers to discover and engage with merchants directly within the Venmo app.

In this design role, you will be responsible for the following.
Collaborate on projects to ensure user needs are met through effective design and assist in developing user-centered design concepts.
Gather and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions, exercising judgment within defined processes, and enhancing user experience through collaborative efforts.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups based on user needs and business goals. You will iterate on designs, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and users to refine and improve the overall user experience
Drive high-quality execution by producing polished design deliverables aligned with product goals—managing your work independently and effectively presenting to stakeholders.
Optimize design processes, recommending new methods or refining existing approaches to improve efficiency and impact.
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the design vision aligns with technical feasibility and business objectives. You'll be involved in design reviews and provide clear documentation to guide the implementation of the user interface.
Partner with user researchers to conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather valuable insights. Analyze this data to identify user needs, pain points, and behaviors, and translate them into actionable design improvements
