Your key responsibilities

  • Drive account management for various accounts through sales and program management, account communications and administration under leadership of the Account Management Leader and in close collaboration with the Global Client Service Partner (GCSP)

  • Work with the CoE, GCSP and global account team to achieve the goals for global revenue, margin and sales/pipeline

  • Ensure that all locations and Service Lines of the firm are actively engaged and that we deliver Exceptional Client Service in all internal and external encounters

  • Support account strategy working with account leadership and drive global execution of account plan

  • Understand both the client’s business agenda and EY services to enable leveraging the global EY network to connect our clients to the right people

  • Act as a project manager for specific account activity

  • Manage selected client relationships e.g., procurement

  • Manage the account pipeline process and drive discipline across global team

  • Serve as subject matter expert for all information related to the account

  • Influence without direct authority, frequently providing coaching and input to a high level of firm leadership

  • Act as a peer or mentor to new Account Coordinators

Skills and attributes for success

  • A bachelor's or post-graduate degree (emphasis in Marketing or Business preferred) or equivalent relevant experience

  • 3-5 years of account management or similar relevant experience, ideally gained within a global multinational company in Switzerland

  • Very proactive nature, detail-oriented with demonstrated account and project management skills/tools, ability to meet tight deadlines and coordinate multiple projects at one time

  • Must have excellent proficiency in German and English writing, speaking, and presenting skills.

  • Strategic thinking and excellent Excel and data analytical skills as well ascomputer skills (including Microsoft suite and Internet-based research)

  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Proven sound judgment and flexibility in balancing multiple project requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule, with high attention to detail

  • Strong business/commercial acumen and an understanding of the life sciences sector

  • Strong attention to detail and sound organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Proactive self-starter with a committed team-oriented attitude
