As a Manager/Senior Manager, you will become a key member of our SAP team. Your role will be focused primarily on the delivery of SAP services to a large global client implementing SAP S/4HANA. Secondary focus will be on support and broader practice development. In this role, you will help develop high-performing individuals and teams, leading and supporting them to deliver exceptional client services.
Your key responsibilities
- Participating in design workshops to gain a clear understanding of our client’s industry and business requirements.
- Learning about accelerators such as SAP Model Company or EY’s Pre-Configured Industry Solutions for potential use as design accelerators on client engagements.
- Provide strategic direction for SAP Utilities architecture, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute the SAP Utilities roadmap.
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP Utilities solutions, considering best practices and industry standards.
- Drive the development and maintenance of the SAP Utilities architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and flexibility.
- Oversee SAP Utilities projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Producing key project deliverables including, design and configuration documentation, functional specs, data migration specs, test scripts, training materials etc.
- Sharing knowledge of best practice within the SAP team and across other firm disciplines, as well as developing other members of the SAP team
- Supporting the development of the SAP practice, including leading internal team activities, supporting sales activities, and facilitating client events.
Skills and attributes for success
- A third level qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience delivering SAP Utilities projects in modules such as ISU (IDE, CCS, Billing & Invoicing), FI-CA, PM, CS, PS
- Experience of engaging with CxO stakeholders, articulating cloud value propositions and business cases
- Knowledge of SAP Workflows and BPEM is a plus
- Experience with, or demonstrable understanding of, S/4HANA best practice processes, key benefits, and implementation scenarios
- Proven experience in leading team planning for all project phases
- Strong ability to lead, mentor and motivate teams, adopting a collaborative and supportive approach
- Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with senior-level clients
Ideally, you will also have:
- Relevant SAP certifications in Utilities or related modules
- Proven ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into effective SAP Utilities solutions
