Under the direction of the BIM Manager and Lead Process RE, the Plant Design System Specialist is responsible for ensuring Plant Design System, setup and maintenance tasks are optimized to support effective integration, information flows between contractors, and efficient client handover of data on current mega project.As the Plant Design System Specialist, you will support the application in a fully integrated Plant design system environment. This position requires work with other team members as well as Engineering/Construction/Commissioning to provide operational and development support.Duties and Responsibilities:
* Setup/configuration and management of Intelligent PID and 3D Modeling on the project.
* Provide P&ID database integration support with Bentley applications to build Plant Database for owner operation, maintenance system ie., Asset Management System, and SCADA system.
* Lead and maintain the reference database including transfers, reports, data integrity, database constraints report and resolutions with contractors
* Troubleshoot plant design system and other BIM/CAD software issues.
* Contribute to project documentation including detailed procedures, standards, and work instructions for all handover database to the client.
* Contribute to the quality management plan by developing and executing data quality audits and resolutions.
* Provide user-support to project resources - Identify potential areas where policies & procedures require change or where new ones need to be developed
* Interface with all projects related software and database such as, for example, OpenPlant Modeler, OpenPlant PID, and any Plant Database required or AutoCAD Plant3D.
We are looking for a person with 5-7 years of experience in support, configuration, integration, and development of any intelligent Plant Design System especially on 3D and P&ID including but not limited to:
* Relevant Degree engineering and/or construction industry experience is preferred.
* Industry experience with 5+ years of directly related technical knowledge and experience on at least two projects using any intelligent P&ID in Plant Design System.
* Hands on knowledge on any of the design tools such as AutoCAD Plant 3D or PDMS + P&ID or Smart Plant P&ID / PDS
* Bentley OpenPlant experience will be advantage
* In-depth knowledge of engineering workflow, document management and experience working in an integrated environment
* Working knowledge of MS SQL and ability to use these tools in an integrated environment is required
* Highly motivated and self-directed - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good to have skills in the use of Database API’s using C#.NET, VB.NET, Python but not compulsory
