Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
- Build strong & lasting relationships with pharmacies under contract with Incyte.
- Prospect new pharmacies that meet network criteria and present opportunities for engagement.
- Monitor and reinforce observance of business rules associated with services agreements for pharmacy partners.
- Support pharmacies and health care providers with access to services offered by Incyte for their patients.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to Patient Access Service, Market Access, Product Strategy, Finance, Legal and Trade regarding business opportunities with network pharmacies.
- Serve as an interface between physician customers, and their office staff, and Incyte patient support programs for pharmacy programs.
- Work with Regional and National account directors to share relevant, payer-specific insights gained from pharmacy data & reports.
- Interact with sales team within assigned region(s) to manage implementation of pharmacy programs including co-pay card operations, the commercial access program, and other patient support programs.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Travel to pharmacy and HCP accounts and conduct presentations and in-services.
- Participate in periodic business reviews between pharmacy networks and business unit leadership.
- Participate in evaluation of specific pharmacies for addition, continued inclusion, or removal from the network.
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
- Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 4 years working in customer facing roles.
- Previous reimbursement experience and successful collaboration with Specialized Dermatology and Retail Pharmacies with atopic dermatitis/eczema experience preferred.
- Experience with new product launches preferred.
- Knowledge of and history of compliance with OIG, CMS, HIPAA, and other regulations impacting pharmacy networks.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong initiative to identify problems and proactively recommend appropriate solutions.
- Excellent listening, communication (written & oral), and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Webex and other common software.
- Travel required – approximately 50-75%.
