Your role:
Development of new hire training program inclusive of strategy, process and collateral.
Leads In-House New Hire Clinical Sales Training programs.
Develops and manages a training and education curriculum budget with support from Head of Global Market Enablement.
Creates, implements and maintains sales training tools, processes and records.
Creates, implements and maintains SOPs related to medical education programs.
Conducts appropriate evaluation of sales training programs and materials related to performance, budget, processes, overall effectiveness and impact on team; incorporates conclusions from analyses into design and implementation of programs as needed.
Develops all aspects of sound medical education strategy inclusive of HCP medical education programs that drive high levels of technical proficiency.
Creates and execute a comprehensive approach to building medical education infrastructure inclusive of training centers (centers of excellence), physician proctorships, allied health care and fellows education (in partnership with the fellows education team) programs.
Assesses the impact of medical education programs to ensure compliant execution of customer clinical pathway strategy.
Ability and experience to work with cross functional leadership teams, ability, and desire to contribute to business’s strategic direction.
Ability to think strategically, rally teammates around a vision, and plan long term organizational needs.
Demonstrated ability to define the desired future state, clearly articulate a plan to progress from current state to desired state, and then successfully lead a team to achieving that result.
Partner and collaborate with market and business unit commercial leadership to ensure alignment of training and education strategy.
Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors to support training and education
Establish goals and learning objectives, in conjunction with sales and marketing leadership, to design appropriate and effective curricula, utilizing principles of adult learning.
Leverage technology to promote cost effective remote training and education using company LMS system.
Aid in cross functional training to other functional areas such as Marketing, Clinical, R&D and other Philips business units.
Responsible for the management of a team of direct reports inclusive of goal setting, quarterly reviews, professional development, and performance management.
You're the right fit if:
Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 7 – 10 years of training experience, in the medical device business with a keen focus in the cardiac and vascular space.
4-6 years of sales and/or training and education experience preferred with a proven track record of results in medical device.
3-5 years of people management experience is highly preferred, specifically in sales and/or training and education.
International/global experience is a significant advantage.
Demonstrated success in building a corporate learning and development strategy.
Extensive experience in curriculum development, as well as in-depth experience in various training methodologies to ensure effective delivery of material in an adult learning environment.
Detailed knowledge of sales training tools and potential vendor partnerships.
Strong project management skills.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience with E-Learning and E-Learning software, with proven ability in effectively administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); team player/leader, high sense of urgency, ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, willingness and desire to ‘roll up sleeves’ and do the work vs. delegating constantly.
Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills are required.
Computer skills competency including Excel, Word and PowerPoint programs is necessary.
Ability to flourish in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong results orientation and change agent. Must be fair, balanced, resilient, decisive and of high authenticity and integrity.
Strong written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to give presentations to a wide spectrum of audiences, both internally and externally.
Ability to build strong relationships across a wide spectrum of internal and external parties including executive leadership, partners, and Key Opinion Leaders.
