As a Global Real Estate - Vendor Performance Vice President within the Property Management in Global Real Estate (GRE) team, you will be responsible for managing complex Global Real Estate Outsourcing contracts. You will provide necessary information and consultation to Senior Business Leaders & functional and regional partners to support the management of their supplier population and enable data-based decision making. You will also have the opportunity to develop new programs directly with the municipalities and partner with our outsourced service providers to ensure we are compliant with various permits, association fees, and invoices in a means to mitigate risk for JPMC.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a global process based on the current US procedure for monitoring and overseeing violations
  • Work with and maintain relationships with local municipalities to receive and resolve all retail and corporate real estate violations in a timely manner
  • Act as liaison with supplier to track and close violations with the project management team and/or Suppliers including Landlords, Legal, Real Estate Transactors and Property Admin
  • Appear at zoom based hearings to reduce and/or dismiss penalties associated with issued violations as needed.
  • Navigate the various municipality websites to locate information related to violations received (NYC DOB, OATH, FDNY, City of Chicago, etc.
  • Track and report red events and partner with technology to develop and roll out automated solutions for violation and red event tracking.
  • Create a global standardized approach to track, monitor, and report on RED events stemming from storms, damages, and all other Property Management related incidents.
  • Provide documentation to support RED events (i.e. invoices, emails, and SAP ledger)
  • Work with Finance/Controllers, Property Admin, GRE Controls and Service Providers to obtain documentation to conclude documentation for RED events
  • Be a key point of contact with GRE controls to report all information within 60 days of the RED event occurrences.
  • Monitor impact of violations on GRE Property Management functions with service providers globally.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 4+ years relevant work experience with desired candidates having experience with Violation management, Building Code processes and procedures and navigation of online agency websites, strong relationship management to oversee our red event reporting process, ability to decipher sense of urgency within communication
  • Strong in MS office suite applications- Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast pace environment
  • Outstanding knowledge of municipal agencies, codes, regulations and filing processes
  • Proven ability to establish global standards and roll out programs
  • Strong communications and reporting ability
  • Ability to partner closely with related functions (Project Managers, Legal & Compliance, Real Estate Transactors, etc.) to ensure a coordinated and effective program
  • Analyze trends and provide cause/effect assessments
  • Past experience implementing global standards and procedures
