Your key responsibilities
- Oversee portfolio of technical architecture projects at EY GDS, ensuring alignment to business objectives and strategy
- Lead delivery, maintenance and implementation of data management and big data projects and standards to promote optimization and consistency
- Utilises expertise and leadership skills to plan, monitor, manage and/or support complex aspects of the data architecture process
- Responsible for building a world class technology team focused on next gen technology – cloud, big data
- Should have complete understanding of application space, data warehousing, data security
- Will be responsible to drive client conversations, participate in pre-sales activities, convert and promote EY value proposition in client organization
- Improves EY data engineering capability by tracking emerging technologies; and by evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements
- Anchor and build solutions and POV in the next gen technology areas
- Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements
- Identifies areas within EY where data engineering, big data, cloud thought leadership could be enhanced
- Defines the end-to-end management vision aligned to the broader organization strategy and objectives
- Identifies strategic links with other functions and geographies and builds partnerships with varied stakeholders, providing technical leadership and advisory services to the business

- Excellent communicator (written and verbal formal and informal).

- 18+ years of experience in the industry with at least 5 years in a technology leader role
