Description
As an Associate Creative Director on Apple Newsroom’s Design Team, you will work with the Creative Director to create elegant design solutions for everything published on Apple Newsroom’s web and social channels, from press releases to photo essays to long-form editorial articles to video and photos.You will commission and provide creative direction for original photography and illustrations from contributors around the globe and work directly with teams across the organization to generate and gather assets for publish on Newsroom platforms.Responsibilities include:
Minimum Qualifications
- Must provide a portfolio of work
- 8+ years experience specializing in visual design
- Industry experience in a publishing, advertising or design environment
- Experience designing for desktop and mobile platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- BA or BFA in Graphic Design or related experience, editorial experience is a plus
- Experience working with Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, and/or Illustrator
- Experience managing design teams
- Significant experience communicating design deliverables across teams and managing expectations along the way
- Experience working quickly and decisively within aggressive timeframes
- A willingness to adapt and modify your approach, without compromising on the outcome
- Ability to focus and simplify in order to solve design problems
- Capacity to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $179,000 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
