Job Title:Senior Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant – Core HR & Absence FunctionalJob Type:Full-Time
Senior (4 to 6 years)
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR and Absence Management modules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and Oracle HCM configurations.
• Configure Core HR elements including workforce structures, legal entities, positions, jobs, grades, and location setups.
• Implement and maintain absence plans, absence types, eligibility rules, approval workflows, and absence reporting.
• Develop and maintain Fast Formulas and Validation Rules related to Core HR and Absence processes.
• Support integration efforts with payroll, time and labour, and other third-party systems as required.
• Lead and coordinate testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT to ensure quality deliverables.
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing system enhancements.
• Prepare functional documentation, user guides, and conduct training sessions for end-users.
• Mentor junior consultants and work collaboratively with offshore/onshore teams for project delivery.
Technical Expertise:
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Core HR and Absence functional modules.
• Expertise in configuring workforce structures, absence management, fast formulas, and approval workflows.
• Good understanding of HCM Cloud data security and role setup.
• Experience with Oracle HCM reporting tools and BI Publisher is a plus.
Professional Experience:
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud implementations with at least 2 full lifecycle projects in Core HR and Absence.
• Proven ability to analyse business processes and map them to Oracle Fusion HCM solutions.
• Experience in post-implementation support and issue resolution.
Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a global team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Oracle Cloud HCM Certification – Core HR and/or Absence Management.
• Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Exposure to global or multi-country Oracle HCM implementations.
