CitiGlobal Markets Japan is currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our Reference Data Management Analyst of Account Control Group as Officer, Reference Data Services Analyst - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Reference Data Services Analyst) based in Tokyo, Japan. This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Day to day oversight and contribution to creation and maintenance of customer accounts, with other setups required to start trading, including Standing Settlement Instruction setup, Tax document validation, JASDEC code setup, etc.
• Identify opportunities for improvements to quality of data and client service levels
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in client/counterparty/account data management within a global financial services organization
• Language requirement: Native level of Japanese as the using application is in Japanese and the client is also mostly Japanese. Business level of English for communicating internally / externally.
• Good awareness of client needs/expectations
• Financial services related qualifications (e.g. IAQ or similar)
