Description
As a member of the Communications leadership team, you will play a critical role defining the future of our platforms and touchpoints, acting as a key voice in identifying and prioritizing new features. You will help us understand how to use data to inform editorial and creative decisions, and how to curate content from our partners.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7-10+ years of journalism and editorial experience in digital media
  • 4+ years of leadership experience leading editorial teams and navigating change in a large organization.
  • Experience handling and implementing an editorial calendar and strategy, experience in media or newsroom setting a plus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to run an editorial process that requires the ability to handle details on hundreds of communications monthly while also tying back to strategy and key messages
  • Experience deriving insights from analytics to influence editorial decisions
  • Ability to set research plans to understand how audiences consume and experience digital content, and use the data to advocate on the audiences behalf
  • Expert ability to understand business challenges and formulate effective editorial plans that support the audience and improve business results
  • Outstanding ability to grow internal relationships across a wide range of teams, and gain their trust in your recommendations and guidance.
  • Demonstrated track record making tough calls and influencing business partners
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with social media plans and or video a plus
  • Experience working with international peers to define global strategies
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $182,200 and $274,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
