TTT - SAP Funtional- Consultant
Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead functional requirement workshops/meetings with Client teams and create detailed business requirement specification
- Analyse data and documents to identify insights on current client state - processes, functions, operational practices
- Create and document business process models to illustrate current and future state processes using various modelling tools
- Ability to work in an iterative approach with client/onsite teams to build functional solutions through solution wireframes
- Ability to create future state financial data models identifying relevant data dimensions and attributes that would become the backbone of future solution
- Document key design decisions and criterions from a future system angle prior to the functional specification documentations
- Convert the business requirement specification to detailed functional solutions/specifications for design and development
- Work with offshore design/development team to convert the functional solutions to technical solutions
- Work as a bridge between client business team and the technical team during the build phase providing requirements debriefs/walk throughs to build the new system is built to specifications.
- Participate in work products review to validate the work product against the baselined requirements
- Demonstrate work products to client/onsite in sprint reviews and document feedback
- Work with the QA team to help them understand requirements and review test cases.
- Create functional test cases for UAT testing.
- Create User Manuals, Business User Training Decks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s for the solution transition and adoption.
- Deliver end user training and ensures a smooth transition to the client.
- Ability to work under agile framework adhering to agile ceremonies and methodologies
- Create status reports and provide status updates to client against work scope.
- Ability to learn new work domains as demanded by the project requirements
- Ability to identify opportunities for business process improvement and optimization through automation
Qualifications & Experience:
- CA/CMA with 4 to 8 years
- Minimum 3 to 4 full cycle implementation experience for financial transformation projects preferably on tax/accounting side.
- Strong functional knowledge and work experience with ERP/EPM tools preferably SAP.
Functional and Technical skillsets:
- Financial Planning, Analysis modelling (GL, TB, Financial statements)
- Tax domain knowledge on areas like International Tax and transactions, Transfer pricing, Legal Entity Forecasting, Financial Planning and Analysis (FPnA), Indirect tax etc
- ERP / SAP foundational knowledge
- Experience in ERP implementation is preferred.
- Experience with Business intelligence tools would have additional preference.
