Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical fields, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of relevant manufacturing process and product development experience for mechanical parts and assemblies for volume electronics products.
Experience in one sub-discipline (i.e. sheet metal fabrication, hard tooling fabrication, plastic injection molding) with ability to provide DFx feedback.
Experience in fixture design and development to support testing and manufacturing.
Preferred qualifications:
Master degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience with product data management systems (e.g., Agile, Windchill) and 3D CAD modeling tools, such as SolidWorks or Pro Engineer.
Understanding of precision sheet metal fabrication processes (e.g., NC punching, press brake forming, hardware insertion processes), hard tooling fabrication processes (e.g., metal stamping), plastic injection molding processes, and electro-mechanical assembly.
Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with multi-geo teams on projects spanning multiple technologies.
