Develop a talent acquisition advisory and search strategy to meet the global business segment needs - with a focus on direct delivery utilizing best in class search and sourcing methods
Set team targets and design working patterns in line with functional objectives and success measures, monitors and enhances team performance utilising data and insight
Work closely with internal departments (e.g. Talent, Diversity , Regulatory Compliance, Reward and HR Advisor teams) to ensure top talent is acquired from both the external and internal market
Manage, lead and develop a team of executive talent acquisition professionals
Drive creative strategies to achieve the best senior talent outcomes, whilst also enabling Citi’s representation goals and keeping diversity, in all its forms, at the heart of decision-making
Directly manage a workload executing executive search mandates, deliver market mapping and insights to inform business hiring decisions
Ensure information is appropriately cascaded and that the team engages with wider projects and initiatives
Act as an escalation point for managers handling sensitive and confidential matters; resolving complex issues
Sponsor or lead continuous improvement projects
Knowledge / Experience:
Extensive experience in Talent Acquisition, specifically executive search gained either in-house or at an executive search firm, coupled with broad HR knowledge and exposure
Proven and respected leader who raises the bar and motivates and empowers others to perform, demonstrating and championing the leadership principles.
Expert technical knowledge of executive search in Wealth Management, US Consumer Banking, or other related fields, including accessing top talent, understanding market practices and ability to consistently and proactively identify, locate and attract passive executive candidates by utilizing advanced recruiting and networking techniques
Ability to build and foster relationships at executive level on a global basis
Politically savvy, able to navigate through complexity and an environment of conflicting priorities, at ease operating in a matrix environment.
Knowledge of financial services and the different business models within the sector and those it serves
Credibility with executive candidates and leaders: possesses gravitas to lead conversations and influence outcomes
Able to build networks internally across matrix organization
Expert in compensation structures and the creation of competitive offers, understanding deferrals and bonus structures
Demonstrated ability to manage complex international hiring processes
Strong project management skills
Digitally aware, ensuring deployment of effective CRM systems to manage search activities
Risk aware, champion of compliance requirements and risk and control activities as they apply to executive search and intelligence activities.
