Responsibilities: The job responsibilities may include a subset of the following:

  • Designing and maintaining transaction accurate/static models for multimedia IPs

  • Performance validation and debugging performance issues in pre/post silicon platforms

  • Architecture analysis for performance optimization

  • Defining use-case flows for multi-media U/Cs

  • Understanding product features and their impact on system performance

  • Working with the product marketing to come up with best possible feature support available at given system configurations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors + 4yrs relevant experience, Master's + 3yrs relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and/or closely related field

  • Candidates with strong analytic and problem solving skills with background and experience in implementation are preferred.

  • Strong understanding of SoC infrastructure (NoC, Memory controller, DDR, QoS, MMU)

  • Strong systems mindset to understand and analyze power & performance aspects of the design

  • Background in performance modeling/verification, experience with debugging system performance issues

  • Familiarity with C, SystemC programming, UNIX/Win/Linux computing platforms

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background in system architecture and/or hardware IP micro-architecture and/or embedded software/firmware

  • Working experience in image/video signal processing

  • Knowledge of image sensor technology and codec standards

Educational requirements:

Required: Bachelor’s in Computer science or Electrical & Computer Engineering

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
