EY Strategy and Transactions provides services within the domain of mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings, valuations, modelling, economic impact analysis, due diligence and financial consulting. You will be a part of ourand you will get theopportunity to work with major corporate clients and financial institutions; providing them with financial and operational modelling support and advice on a wide variety of strategy and transaction assignments, including:

• Investment and/or financial feasibility modelling
• Decision supportmodelling
• Resource modelling and optimisation
• Financial restructuringmodels
• Planning, budgeting and forecastingmodels

Attributes and skills required for success

• A strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or other related field
• The ability to demonstrate intellectual rigour and commercial awareness, combined with first-class numeracy and analytical skills
• Approximately two – three years of previous experience of scoping, building and reviewing financial models; project finance; financial / debt advisory; corporate finance, strategic planning; financial reporting /audit or valuation
• Strong understanding of Excel and how it can be applied to corporate finance
• Strong knowledge and awareness of evolving data analytics tools and related software, including data visualization and database skills to connect data and deliver decision making solutions
• Excellent report writing, communication skills both oral and written in Turkish and English and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a diverse team, build effective relationships at all levels and handle multiple responsibilities

In your role as a Modelling Senior you will:

• Build financial and operational models, support execution of modelling projects and manage interactions with client management and senior members of the EY team
• Design, build and test integrated financial models incorporating operational, tax, accounting and financing aspects
• Prepare deliverables including reports, presentations and support discussions with the client
• Apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to support resolution of issues
• Review financial models, arrive at conclusions and communicate these effectively to the client
• Communicate effectively with the engagement lead, the client, and the wider team in a concerted effort towards delivering work products of the highest standard
• Provide coaching to others, share your technical and other knowledge with your team
