EY Strategy and Transactions provides services within the domain of mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings, valuations, modelling, economic impact analysis, due diligence and financial consulting. Through our independent position with respect to lenders, investors, and investment bankers, our team of professionals is ideally placed to successfully support corporate transactions.

You will be a part of ourand you will get theopportunity to work with major corporate clients and financial institutions; providing them with financial and operational modelling support and advice on a wide variety of strategy and transaction assignments, including:

• Investment and/or financial feasibility modelling
• Decision supportmodelling
• Resource modelling and optimisation
• Financial restructuringmodels
• Planning, budgeting and forecastingmodels

Attributes and skills required for success

• A strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or other related field
• The ability to demonstrate intellectual rigour and commercial awareness, combined with first-class numeracy and analytical skills
• Approximately five – six years of related work experience for Managers and eight years of experience for Senior Managers in financial modelling; project finance; financial /debt advisory
• Strong commercial experience and/or relevant industry or transaction experience, preferably within a Big4 environment and a financial institution
• Strong knowledge and awareness of evolving data analytics tools and related software, including data visualization and database skills to connect data and deliver decision making solutions
• Experience of managing the client relationship and using this to create new business opportunities
• Strong project management and organisation skills – as a manager/ senior manager in the team you would be in a charge of projects, discuss directly with clients and mentor junior team members
• Excellent report writing, communication skills both oral and written in Turkish and English and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a diverse team, build effective relationships at all levels and handle multiple responsibilities

In your role as a Modelling Manager / Senior Manager you will:

• Be responsible for the execution of modelling projects and have the opportunity to lead EY teams and manage interactions with client management and senior members of the EY team
• Design, build and test integrated financial models incorporating operational, tax, accounting and financing aspects
• Participate in the preparation of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with the client
• Apply logical thinking and creative problem solving skills to support resolution of issues
• Review financial models, arrive at conclusions and communicate these effectively to the client
• Communicate effectively with the engagement lead, the client, and the wider team in a concerted effort towards delivering work products of the highest standard
• Assist senior team members in developing new business
• Provide coaching to others, share your technical and other knowledge with your team
