DESCRIPTION

The Sr. Business Affairs Lead will have 7+ years of work experience in a content acquisition, business development, or related role, and will be someone with an interest in building on existing licensing and negotiation experience. Knowledge of sound recordings and music publishing licensing a plus.Key job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key record labels, promoters and artist representatives
- Negotiate license agreements to secure necessary rights from record labels and artists, and expand existing agreements as neededCulver City, CA, USA

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of entertainment industry deal negotiation experience
- Experience negotiating complex agreements with a firm understanding of legal terminology and reasoning
- Experience in content negotiation, acquisition, business development or related experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- J.D., or MBA
- Bias for action; ability to manage multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment
- Experience in music licensing, merchandising rights or music livestreaming
- Experience in writing detailed and data-supported documents
- Demonstrated business judgment and ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
- Ability to develop ideas independently and navigate ambiguity
