Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Act as the key point of contact for both internal and external production teams from pitch to delivery.
- Being a team player who can manage a team or project and support numerous production team members while working collaboratively with cross-functional partners as needed.
- Review all production plans, budgets, and schedules in order to improve and implement the best practices for production.
- Responsible for all production documentation, ensuring the workflow pipeline is efficient and effective as it pertains to capturing all data.
- Track and oversee all production schedules, keeping things up-to-date and well-communicated throughout the course of Production.
- Keep up to date with Netflix and industry-standard tools, tech specs, and technologies
- Attend production events, shows, and meetings as required, representing Netflix at the highest standard at all times.
- Keeping a pulse on market rates, freelance crew, vendors, incentives, and all forward-thinking production strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of nonfiction production management experience as a Line Producer or similar role.
- Nonfiction production experience should include at least one or all of the following categories; documentary, unscripted, and sports. Streamer or studio experience is a plus.
- A high-performance team player who is experienced in a fast-paced environment overseeing several projects at various points of production (from development through delivery).
- A passion for sports content and comfort in navigating the ever-changing plans that go hand in hand with managing sports productions.
- Experience managing quick turnaround and topical content where deadlines are firm.
- Knowledge of current trends and workflows for both UHD/4K capture.
- Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information.
- Understanding how to prioritize and respond accordingly.
- Desire and self-motivation to continuously learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and budgeting software.
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000 - $245,000.
