HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The selected candidate will develop and deliver services offerings for the IP Fabric and domain controller within Nokia's Data Center Fabric solution.

  • Lead architecture discussions and requirements gathering workshops with Customers
  • Document, present and deliver relevant design collateral such as HLD (high-level design), LLD (low-level design) and test plans to customers
  • Provide guidance to Customers on Nokia-validated Design best practices and architecture
  • Engage in staging and network integration phases of the customer project
  • Consult with network deployment and integration teams in work related to design questions and architectural guidelines
  • Work with Product Line Management, pre-sales and support-teams to provide feedback and deliver to our customer's expectations
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

This role requires cross-domain knowledge and the selected candidate would be expected to be familiar Data Center networking and Cloud concepts

  • 8+ years work experience in the IP Routing domain
  • Strong working level knowledge of IP Networking and Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), QoS, L2 and L3 VPNs, EVPN, NAT etc.
  • Familiarity with Data Center Design principles
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts and platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, GCP
  • Experience in Consulting and providing professional services directly to external Customers
  • Hands-on network integration and problem solving skills

The following skills would be considered an added asset:

  • Work experience with Network Management & API concepts and protocols such as NETCONF, YANG, REST, gNMI
  • 3rd party router expertise, including Cisco/Juniper product lines
  • Nokia Internal Candidates: Hands-on experience on SrLinux and FSS would be considered a valuable asset
