Job responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Investment team, researchers, product managers, and SMEs to write meaningful and human investments content, including - but not limited to - a mix of thought leadership editorial, investing education pieces and explanatory copy for our audience.
- Partner with investing experts from across the business and translate their knowledge into effective, straight forward and empathetic content.
- Bring content ideas to the table proactively, and can also build upon ideas brought by others – critically examining the value we are bringing for customers
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization who come to content design from different angles—like PR, brand, legal, risk, and more—to facilitate progress and influence direction
- Partner with our brand, marketing, localization, and customer service teams to create a cohesive experience.
- Champion the value of good shareable content among other teams
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Maintain and implement writing guidelines that are in line with our brand and voice
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrable experience in the area of investments and/or other complex financial instruments – with a high understanding of financial markets and enjoy staying up to date with macro, asset class, sector and geographical trends
- You are exceptionally organised, able to collaborate and communicate effectively, and can build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- You have high standards for content quality and lift others to these high standards
- Moving between strategy and hands on writing and editing comes naturally to you
- Native fluency in written and verbal English
- You’re a natural storyteller, a systems thinker, and a content champion who people want to work with
- You are curious about content performance and continuously improving the efficiency, effectiveness and customer-centricity of our content
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience writing digital content and editing
- Experience working at an Investments, asset management or financial advice firm.
- While writing investment insights is your strength, you can work with stakeholders from design, marketing, brand and product teams to ensure a consistent voice across our communications
- You understand the importance of SEO, but equally you’re able to commit to writing in a compelling and engaging way about virtually anything.
