What to ExpectAs a Construction Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and executing construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with your project team, design team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Your technical expertise, organizational skills, and ability to effectively communicate will be key in coordinating and facilitating various aspects of the construction process.
What You’ll Do- Development of project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with the project superintendents to establish project objectives, deliverables, and timelines
- Collaborate with the design team, architects, and engineers to review plans, specifications, and drawings
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, and industry standards
- Track site execution and inspections to ensure work is performed according to safety guidelines and quality standards
- Expedite solutions to design clashes while coordinating with design team for best path forward
What You’ll Bring- Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience managing construction projects in large manufacturing or industrial environments specifically with Mechanical, Electrical, and Process Piping Scopes
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in project management software and design tools
- Ability to problem solve and make difficult decisions rooted in data
- Confident in decision making ability and coordinating among key stakeholders
