- Maintain a safe work environment for Company and Contractor employees
- Develop a workable schedule taking in consideration other craft’s schedule
- Develop Scope of Work for the project, that contractors can bid on and validate contractor bids against cost/schedule estimates
- Ensure on time or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, collaborating with interdisciplinary groups to solve problems and prioritize execution
- Ability to evaluate construction, electrical one lines, drawings
- Evaluate, negotiate and process change orders, submittals and RFIs
- Provide clear and concise direction to trades helping prioritize efficient build-out, coordinating with the trades to sequence work adequately
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5 -10+ years of experience managing construction projects in large manufacturing or industrial environments, prefer electrical and mechanical scope experience
- Familiar with code compliance and building occupancy
- Proficient knowledge of Medium Voltage Distribution, e.g., Switch yard, GIS, Sub Stations, Construction of Substation Switch rooms
- Proficient knowledge of Wet and Dry Mechanical Systems, including piping and ductwork
- Proficient knowledge of Process Piping, Instrumentation, and Life Safety systems including fire suppression and fire alarm (piping and instrumentation 5%)
- Thorough understanding of NFPA 70E and NEC code requirements
