Maintain a safe work environment for Company and Contractor employees
Develop a workable schedule taking in consideration other craft’s schedule
Develop Scope of Work for the project, that contractors can bid on and validate contractor bids against cost/schedule estimates
Ensure on time or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, collaborating with interdisciplinary groups to solve problems and prioritize execution
Ability to evaluate construction, electrical one lines, drawings
Evaluate, negotiate and process change orders, submittals and RFIs
Provide clear and concise direction to trades helping prioritize efficient build-out, coordinating with the trades to sequence work adequately
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
5 -10+ years of experience managing construction projects in large manufacturing or industrial environments, prefer electrical and mechanical scope experience
Familiar with code compliance and building occupancy
Proficient knowledge of Medium Voltage Distribution, e.g., Switch yard, GIS, Sub Stations, Construction of Substation Switch rooms
Proficient knowledge of Wet and Dry Mechanical Systems, including piping and ductwork
Proficient knowledge of Process Piping, Instrumentation, and Life Safety systems including fire suppression and fire alarm (piping and instrumentation 5%)
Thorough understanding of NFPA 70E and NEC code requirements
