Are you ready to shape the future of the Life Sciences & Pharma industry? EY Consulting in Belgium is looking for passionate and experienced professionals to join our dynamic Supply Chain & Operations team. We are hiring for two exciting roles:

  • Senior Consultant (min. 2-3 years of experience)
  • Manager (5+ years of experience)

What You’ll Do: As part of our team, you will:

  • Shape client’s supply chain transformation vision, focus areas, and journey from the current state to a “to-be” enterprise environment.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Provide point-of-view on Life Sciences supply chain solutions to deliver on transformational goals along with strengths and weaknesses of various planning solutions.
  • Collaborate & build strong relationships with senior client leaders, offering insights and solutions tailored to their unique challenges and ensure buy-in to recommended solutions.
  • Collaborate with leading Life Sciences & Pharma companies to design and implement supply chain & operations strategies that drive efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.
  • Lead or contribute to projects focused on supply chain optimization, digital transformation, demand planning, manufacturing excellence, and distribution strategies.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
  • Help to develop and expand the Life Sciences Supply Chain Services consulting portfolio through thought leadership and opportunity identification.
  • Manage business development opportunities to bring innovative solutions and ways of working to clients.
  • Build and apply technical, industry, organization, and functional knowledge to support efforts in selling opportunities to existing and new clients.
  • Manage workstreams and/or work efforts at a client.

Who do we need – Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience scoping and delivering Life Sciences transformation and innovation technology advisory solutions and services that includes advanced functional-level understanding of at least one of the following: MES, Smart Factory, TMS, WMS, OMP, Kinaxis, SAP IBP.
  • Minimum of 2 years of external experience at a consulting firm or 3 years of internal consulting experience in a role within Life Sciences (biopharma or medical device).
  • You have a master’s degree in engineering, sciences, (bio)engineering, biotechnology or a related field of study or you are equivalent through experience.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • You are a true team player with strong relational, analytical and problem-solving skills. You are detail-oriented and strive for excellence. You are also motivated and enthusiastic, but it is your "can-do" mentality that typifies you the most.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of cGMP regulations and pharma processes & techniques (e.g. Car-T, Cell & Gene, API, Small & Large Molecules).
  • You can work fluently with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with cGMP systems such as PASx, eLIMs, Siemens and SAP are a nice plus.

Specific Requirements – Senior Consultant:

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in project management or contributing to multi-disciplinary teams.
  • A proactive mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Specific Requirements – Manager:

  • Proven track record of leading projects or teams in a consulting or industry setting.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities and the capability to manage complex client engagements.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and a drive to inspire and develop others.
