Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Asset Servicing team for the JP Morgan Wealth Management business, including performance management, staff development, training, operational controls, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Handle the entire life cycle of corporate actions, ensuring accurate and timely processing to meet client and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee all aspects of class actions, from initiation to resolution, ensuring compliance and optimal outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with Client Services, Bankers, Treasury Services, and other Operations organizations to enhance client experience.
- Drive the transformation agenda and work with global teams such as Technology and other transformation groups.
- Lead through effective communication, influence, and people management to drive results.
- Operate effectively in a high-volume, rapid-paced, deadline-oriented environment, manage KPIs to ensure quality and timeliness, and make data-driven decisions for enhanced client experience.
- Proactively manage escalations related to delivery issues, promote process improvement ideas, share best practices, manage risk, identify issues, and escalate as necessary.
- Create an effective control environment within the team, assist in developing, implementing, and periodically performing key controls, and establish effective partnerships with onshore leads/stakeholders through proactive communication, business reviews, and governance models.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Graduate Degree.
- At least 12 years of experience in Financial Services, Operations, or management in Investment Banking Wealth Management.
- Proven track record of effective leadership relative to strategic change management and process re-engineering, including technology-driven projects.
- Strong ability to build relationships with and influence colleagues, business leaders, and functional partners.
- Strong industry experience with an understanding of standards and practices in wealth management operations.
- Highly motivated individual with strong people management skills, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Securities Operations experience is preferred.
- Experience with strategic change management and process re-engineering.
- Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with an aptitude for decision-making and problem-solving.
- Experience with technology-driven projects and tools such as Alteryx, Signavio, and Tableau.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and express opinions confidently.
- MBA or other postgraduate degree is a plus.
