(Senior) Consumer Marketing Manager
Purpose:
- Incorporating deep understanding on consumer insights, drive and develop superior and relevant products for strategic growth.
Your role:
- Stay abreast on industrial trend, consumer insights, develop superior value propositions and product roadmap to drive business growth.
- Steer the new product development from start to end, taking initial ideas through to product development and market introduction.
- Interact with various disciplines including innovation, technology & development, procurement, design, marketing management, marketing communication and international sales organizations.
- Help to extend the lifecycle of existing products by contributing with your marketing views.
- Interact on a regular basis with our marketing teams in key markets and ensure a successful product launch that fits with the local market needs.

- You will be part of a dedicated Marketing Team working on Haircare business, an important part of the Beauty portfolio. Philips is a leading brand in this category with a healthy and growing business, and with ambitious future growth plans. You will report into to the Director Consumer Marketing Haircare and will be working in a network of various stakeholders based in both Shenzhen/Hong Kong (e.g consumer marketing management, R&D, design) and the Netherlands (e.g., central communication team, market intelligence specialists) and in the countries (e.g., marketing specialists, key account managers).
:
- Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields or MBA.
- 5 - 8 years of work experience in marketing / brand management of consumer products including life cycle management.
- Proven track record with global consumer / retail brands with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple and diverse markets.
- Experience with product development and product launches.
- Highly entrepreneurial with a natural affinity for beauty/ lifestyle products, and a market and consumer driven approach to product creation.
- Strong analytical skills and the passion to drive business growth. Ability to think creatively and pragmatically.
- Excellent project management skills and broad interests that allow you to create multi-disciplinary environments that inspire and motivate others.
- Ability to collaborate with local marketing and sales teams, influence others, present convincing arguments and build and maintain extensive networks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills to interact with executives and top managers.
- Solid spoken and written English skills.
