Description
Core responsibilities include:Develop new testers/critical optical component to meet design requirements for calibration and test.Develop and deploy software that calibrates and tests imaging systems.Analyze volume data to provide guidance on engineering decisions.Travel to vendors and partner facilities is required during new product development, up to 10-15%
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
  • Experience in image processing or software development
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of imaging systems, camera technology
  • Programming experience with Matlab / C++ preferred.
  • Exceptional Mechanical/HW/SW problem solving and optimization skill
  • Self-motivated professional. Good team player w/ passion
  • Experience in lens characterization methodology and calibration is a plus
  • Experience on camera/depth sensing device/optical device test would be big plus
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
