As an Audit Senioryou'll make a technical contribution to audit engagements and internal projects. You'll actively establish internal and external relationships and identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY on existing engagements. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you'll lead engagements and escalate issues as appropriate. You'll confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting, Finance or a Business-related field with a minimum of upper second-class honours or its equivalent or
• A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), Law or Computer Science will be an added advantage;
• Evidence advanced progress in pursuit of professional qualification in accounting (ACCA, CPA or CA). A full qualification/ certification will be an added advantage;
• 5+ years of audit experience;
• Evidence advanced Computer skills and analytics;
• A minimum overall grade of a B in High School/KCSE, and B in both English & Mathematics;
• Foreign Language will be an added advantage

• Performing complex and specific audit procedures, while developing effective, client-focused audit strategies
• Coaching and managing a team of audit professionals, facilitating them to have the information, tools and opportunities they need to grow
• Proactively building relationships that support our ability to provide tailored services that meet a wide range of assurance needs and contribute to new business development
• Identifying and reacting to potential risks and developing new ways to improve our products and processes that promote growth and increase revenue
• Continually updating your understanding of business trends and emerging technologies to maintain your reputation as a trusted business advisor
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management
