Description
As an engineer on our team, you’ll be responsible for implementing new features and maintaining diagnostic subsystems that support iOS, watchOS, visionOS, and tvOS operating systems. Your duties include software design, implementation, testing, and integration within the operating system. You’ll also contribute to and enhance the development process.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience designing, implementing, testing, shipping, and/or supporting software
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming principles
  • Practice building mobile software applications and systems
  • Hands-on experience with Objective-C, Swift, or other C-based languages
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coding background on iOS and/or macOS
  • Kernel level or firmware software development is a plus
  • Familiarity with server side development - Java, Ruby, Node, etc.
  • Understanding of databases and system scalability a plus
  • Front-end web development experience - HTML, CSS, JS, etc.
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $183,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
