Job Description:

Part of our Payment Alliance, Tap to Pay is a cross-functional Team working on an SDK allowing our merchants to make card payments in our apps and partner apps without dedicated card reader device. On a day-to-day basis, you'll be in close contact with other engineers, product managers and designers to co-create a tailored user experience for our merchants and partners.

Your day-to-day

  • Design, implement and maintain features with a high degree of autonomy for Android SDK.

  • Take an active part in system design.

  • Work on interesting problems together with talented peers in cross-functional agile team.

  • Experiment and learn about design, technology and processes.

  • Collaborating with other teams and be ready to help our SDK integrators.

  • Ensure a high level of quality, usability and maintainability of the (reusable) components and code.

What you need to succeed

  • Solid Android development experience and a good knowledge of both Kotlin.

  • Hands-on experience with MVI (or Redux) architecture.

  • A quality first mindset and the openness to write tests, caring for the overall performance of the product.

  • Interested in keeping up to date with the latest technological development.

  • A proactive and solution focused approach with a natural willingness to take technical ownership and contribute to the team's decisions.

  • A positive and “can-do” attitude with a genuine interest in collaborating closely with your team to build and maintain the Payments SDK.

Nice to have

  • You have experience with accessibility on Android.

  • You have designed and maintained libraries/APIs used by others

  • You have experience in working with SDK integrators.

  • You have experience with payments transactions in FinTech.
