What you are supposed to do,

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on AML requirements and user stories, including data retention, validation processes, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with AML Analysts, Financial Analysts, and System Administrators to understand system functionalities and requirements related to data accuracy, compliance, and reporting.
• Execute functional testing for AML systems, ensuring all features related to transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting are thoroughly tested.
• Conduct data validation tests to ensure the accuracy and completeness of KYC information, transaction history, and regulatory reporting metrics.
• Verify the ingestion and processing of standardized Unusual Transaction and Suspicious Transaction data.
• Identify, document, and track defects in the AML system using defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress and results.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated on AML regulations and best practices to enhance testing strategies.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to develop automated test scripts for repetitive testing tasks.

What we are looking for,

• Understanding of AML regulations, KYC processes, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in automated testing tools and frameworks is a value add (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Java etc.)
• Minimum Degree qualification
• Familiarity with AML systems and tools, such as NetReveal, and their functionalities.
• Proficiency in functional testing methodologies and test case design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and validate data integrity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and querying databases.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Experience with defect tracking tools and test management tools (e.g., Azure).
• Familiarity with Azure dev ops test plan is a plus
• Knowledge of secure data transmission practices and data masking/encryption techniques.
