Description
Responsibilities include: - Building novel applications of LLMs for next generation user experiences- Analyzing the loss patterns in the current modeling stack and coming up with new insights, algorithms and techniques to resolve those losses with the goal of improving the top-line product metrics
Key Qualifications
- 10+ year experience in Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Large Language Models and applying these techniques at scale
- 5+ year experience in a technical leadership role; leading all aspects of technically complex projects along with people management, scaling and growing technical teams
- Experience with LLMs, multi-modal LLMs, foundation models
- A strong track record of shipping products and publications / patents
- Proven expertise in deep learning frameworks like Jax, PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Hands-on experience in Python and science libraries
- Ability to collaborate closely with multi-functional teams
- Superior communication and collaboration skills
Education & Experience
PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $210,900 and $316,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
